Welcome to Paradise!
Located in southeastern Mexico as part of the Caribbean Sea and just six kilometers northeast of Cancun you will find Isla Mujeres , one of the main islands of the Mexican State of Quintana Roo.
During the Mayan culture (2000 AC / DC 1546) the island was sacred to the Goddess Ixchel , goddess of the moon , love and fertility.
For centuries the Maya brought offerings to Goddess Ixchel, clay figures representing women.
When the first Spaniards arrived in 1517 they found a large number of these clay figures and named the island " Isla Mujeres ".
With a length of only 7 and a half kilometers and 500 meters at its widest point, Isla receives every year thousands of tourists both domestic and from all over the world.
Now days Isla has the flavor of visiting a fishing village with its colorful boats , its small streets with cheerful houses and a community that is open to receive the visitor and make them feel at home.
Isla Mujeres is bathed by the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea with its incredible range of turquoise colors.
The west side of the island looks towards the Caribbean Sea while its east side faces towards the Bahia de Mujeres.
We want to welcome you and make available some of the major activities that will make your stay with us a memorable time.
